IFA Berlin is one of Europe’s largest consumer electronics shows. Many tech companies from around the world, come here to showcase their products. Retailers from around the world also participate in the show to connect with tech companies for business. We at Brandworks Technologies (BWtech) also participated in the show. This year IFA was a host to many big tech companies like Samsung, Qualcomm, Huawei, LG, Lenovo, and many more. Startups in tech were also participants in this trade show. Many new products were launched and many new innovations were found shout out in this trade exhibition. Last, two years IFA didn’t take place due to Covid, this time, the IFA exhibition took place from September 2 – September 6. IFA 22 main focus was on connectivity, sustainability, and smart living.
For connectivity, Big brands like Qualcomm unveiled plans to have 5G technology, Wi-fi 7, and even satellites- within virtual and real-world environments to drive a connected experience. Honor also unveiled a new OS named MagicOS7.0 to provide a seamless cross-platform and cross-device experience.
For sustainability, brands like Arcelik took the initiative to advise consumers and the home electronics industry to collaborate and do their part to contain climate change and reduce pollution. Schneider Electric was also in favor of reducing CO2 emissions by making homes more smarter and digitized. They said smart homes are the key to making the planet more sustainable.
Huawei also talked about the company’s commitment to the health and fitness space. They showcased their integration of devices from smartphones to health and fitness, looking forward to intelligent living.
Home appliances that are techy and smart were also the highlight of this exhibition in Berlin. Household appliances and electronic accessories were also on display. 1100 + exhibitors from 46 countries and regions across the world participated in this event. Although the figure was less than the number of exhibitors last time in 2019 that was 1900.OEMs and ODMS also participated in huge numbers.
