The Device Next Summit was held in New Delhi on the 16th of September. It was an industry summit for the mobile accessories segment in India to meet up, collaborate, discuss, exchanges ideas, and build relationships. It was a one-day event that started at 10 in the morning and ended at 6 in the evening. Various manufacturers, brands, and distributors across the country participated in the event. Mr. Ishwar Kumhar also represented Brandworks Technologies at the event. He was also a panelist at a panel discussion on the topic ‘Product’s journey from manufacturer to end-user.

Mr. Ishwar Kumhar gracefully put forward his ideas and views on the subject. He took forward the example of his own company Brandworks while showcasing the realities of the mobile accessories market. He sought more help from the government in encouraging the mobile accessories segment. He called for a platform for stakeholders to create business opportunities for themselves in the mobile accessories market in India. He gave the example of alibaba.com and 1688.com to explain his suggestion.

He also sought the government’s support finance wise also for brands as well as manufacturers. He also called for the market to have more manufacturers in India and create a supply for the demand for accessories in the country. He also looked forward to chip manufacturers coming from China and manufacturing here by increasing the demand in our country.

Ishwar Kumhar also talked about the challenges an OEM company faces like his. He spoke on different aspects of the mobile accessories market. He was worth listening to. He was part of panelists like Hetal Shah (Mobilla), Aditya Padman (ServeXplus) Rohit Arora (GizBot), and many more.

MediaTek, Noise, Play, Syska, and different companies also participated in the panel discussion. It was indeed a fruitful event bringing together different stakeholders of the mobile accessories market under one roof for business understanding as well as to gather insights and build relationships.
